Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 Release Date

The next season of Fortnite, Chapter 4 Season 4, will launch on the 25th of August 2023.

It will release at 3AM ET/8AM BST.

The Season will end of the 3rd of November 2023.

    • Markers in Team Rumble are not indicating teammates correctly

Survivor Medals

Stay standing to earn Survivor Medals! To upgrade to the next medal, complete a Survivor Quest in Battle Royale or Zero Build that challenges you to outlast a fixed number of opponents while getting a certain number of eliminations. The higher your medal rarity, the harder the Quests. The most expert survivors get the Mythic 1 medal!

There are seven medal rarities, with ten medal upgrades per rarity. These rarities are:

  • Common
  • Uncommon
  • Rare
  • Epic
  • Legendary
  • Exotic
  • Mythic

Upon getting the Common 1 medal, you’ll unlock the Prized Llama Back Bling. Reach the top of the other rarities to unlock new Styles for Prized Llama!

Competitive

Chapter 4 Season 4 means Chapter 4 Season 4 Ranked! As previously announced, everyone’s rank has been reset in Chapter 4 Season 4 Ranked to provide a fresh start for all players.

Similarly to Season Zero, you’ll only need to play one Ranked match in Chapter 4 Season 4 to have your rank revealed (one match per Battle Royale and Zero Build). Your performance in your first match does not determine your initial rank placement. Rather, it reveals your rank and then updates your rank progress bar based on your performance in the match.

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 Battle Pass

We’ll be getting a new Battle Pass for the new season, which will cost 950 V-Bucks.

Usually, Fortnite collaborates with other franchises (particularly movie franchises) and adds a themed skin to the Battle Pass.

Last season, we got Optimus Prime in collaboration with the new Transformers movie.

Looking ahead at what movies launch in a similar time frame to the new season, we could see a Blue Beetle skin; Fortnite has featured many DC superhero skins before.

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 Collaborations And Events

We’re expecting two major collaborations in the next Season, this includes the Lego crossover and Doctor Who crossover.

Equally, given the time of the year, we’re expecting a big anniversary/birthday event for Fortnite as they tend to do every year – last year’s event took place in late September.

And if the season runs long enough, we can expect a Halloween event such as ‘Fortnitemares’.

We could see a PayDay collaboration to advertise the upcoming PayDay 3 game.
