Pokemon GO Fest London 2023: Dates, Locations, Tickets, Price, Discount, Global Events, Rewards And Challenges

The Pokemon GO calendar is reaching the biggest event of the year – Pokemon GO Fest 2023.

Each year, Pokemon GO Fest features a huge celebration for fans of the game with in-person activations, rewards, challenges and new Pokemon!

This year’s event is taking place in three in-person locations including one global event.

Here’s everything you need to know about Pokemon GO Fest 2023.

Start Date

The in-person event takes place on the 4th, 5th and 6th of August 2023.

The event’s park experience will take place from 9AM-1.30PM local time or 2.30PM-7PM local time (depending on whether you buy a morning-afternoon experience ticket) and the City experience will take place from 9AM-7PM local time.

A final global event will take place on the 26th-27th of August 2023.

Right now, there’s an early bird discounted pricing across all locations; this ends on the 15th of June 2023.

There’s also the global event, which will take place online for all to participate in.

Rewards

All Trainers will receive the following bonuses and rewards during event hours.

  • Lure Modules activated will last for one hour
  • 2× friendship bonus damage in raids
  • Trainers will be able to enjoy Field Research themed around the different Pokémon habitats
  • The Remote Raid limit will be increased to 20 per day from Saturday, August 26 at 12:00 a.m. to Sunday, August 27, 2023, at 11:59 p.m. local time.
  • Take snapshots during the event—you never know who might show up!

Featured Pokemon (Diancie And Carbink)

Both Diancie and Carbink will be making their first appearance in Pokemon GO during GO Fest 2023.

To get Diancie, you need to either attend the event (in person) at one of the specified locations. Those who have a ticket will be able to complete an exclusive Special Research to encounter it.

Meanwhile, if you’re after Carbink, you’ll need to purchase a Global Ticket and play between the 21st of June and the 5th of July to get a Timed Research, with an encounter as a reward. Afterwards, Carbink will appear in Field Research encounters for all trainers during the global event.

Special Research

  • On Saturday, ticket-holding Trainers will be able to complete exclusive Special Research to learn more about the Mythical Pokémon Diancie—and they’ll get an opportunity to encounter it!
  • Then, on Sunday, ticket-holders will receive extended Special Research focused on Mega Rayquaza and the newly discovered Meteorites!
