It’s that time of the year again, the Overwatch World Cup is back!
This is the first World Cup of Overwatch 2, meaning it’s an exciting time for players and viewers.
With rewards to earn, skins to sport and lots of money on the line, you’ll want to be involved in this year’s event.
Here’s everything you need to know about the Overwatch 2 2023 World Cup.
Dates
The Online Qualifiers are taking place from June 18th until July 2nd 2023.
The LAN Playoffs have yet to be confirmed, but we’re expecting October or November.
Location
The finals will take place likely take place at BlizzCon, a gaming convention held by Blizzard, in Anaheim, California at the Anaheim Convention Center.
2023’s World Cup has not been confirmed to be held at Blizzcon, but we expect it to follow tradition.
Tickets
Tickets are yet to go on sale, once we have more information, we will update this page.
Teams
Playoff Teams
Only one team has been invited to the Finals, due to the shutdown of the Overwatch servers in China (they have also, traditionally, performed well at these events).
