Is There Prestige In MW3?
MW3 has a prestige system, however, it operates a bit differently.
In older Call of Duty games, players could prestige once they hit a certain rank. This originally started at level 55, but as games progressed some opted to change the ranks going up as far as level 80 with some only needing to be level 50.
You would also have your unlocks and progress reset, while your personal stats remained. In later Call of Duty games, you would earn rewards such as XP tokens, extra custom class slots exclusive emblems and calling cards.

Once you reach level 56 in MW3, you enter your first prestige automatically.
At the start of the game, there are only 5 Prestiges but 250 levels.
- Prestige 1 – Level 56 – 99
- Prestige 2 – Level 100 – 149
- Prestige 3 – Level 150 – 199
- Prestige 4 – Level 200 – 249
- Prestige 5 – Level 250
What’s great about this year’s prestige system is that you don’t lose any gear or progress.
