GTA 6 is all any fan of the series can talk about as they gear up for the next game.
10 years after GTA V was released, Rockstar still provides regular updates to GTA Online. For a lot of players, however, this isn’t enough and they want somewhere new to explore.
The GTA Trilogy remake hasn’t satisfied everyone’s needs, so what can Rockstar do next other than provide the next game in the franchise?

Is GTA 6 Coming Out?
Yes, GTA 6 is coming out, or at least “the next entry in the series is underway”, as they tweeted back in February 2022.

We’re all expecting this to be GTA 6. Rockstar has yet to directly reference it by name or give any information in general, but indirectly they have made subtle nods to it (whether it is intentional or not).
A recent Take-Two Interactive investors call revealed that the GTA 6 release date is set to arrive between April 1, 2024, and March 31, 2025.
The company said that “active development for the next entry” is “well underway” and that it will enter its “next phase of growth in Fiscal 2025”.
More recently, Take-Two claimed they will experience a “significant inflection point” and “record levels” of performance in fiscal 2025 (April 2024 – March 2025). Meaning it’s very probable that GTA 6 will be announced next year with a release in late 2024 to hit peak release time around the holidays.
Tez2, a well-known member of the GTA forums and insider, says that Rockstar’s “aimed-always-changing-not-set-in-stone deadline is holiday 2024, which has been pushed back multiple times [over] the past few years. Unfortunately, it could slip into early 2025 as well.”
Tez2 also mentions that they “personally see an announcement as a given this year. I don’t think the upper management is in a position to delay further to holiday 2025/2026”. Rockstar could meet this deadline by “cutting more potions of the game to package into DLCs to release later on” as it “may be more sustainable for management than delaying further”.
