Crash Team Rumble is the next big game for the lovable Bandicoot and his colourful companions.
Crash has made a success through his traditional platforming adventures, most of which took place during the 90s and early 2000s.
After a lengthy hiatus, he made a comeback in more recent times with a number of remasters and more recently some brand new IPs.
With his third game in the party genre set to release, there’s a lot of questions on what consoles it will release for; including the Nintendo Switch.
Will Crash Team Rumble come to Switch?
Is Crash Team Rumble Coming To Switch
The simple answer is no, Crash Team Rumble is not coming to Switch.
As it stands, the 4v4 game will launch on PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X.
But that isn’t to say it won’t release on Switch at some stage in the future.
Since returning to the fold, on modern gaming platforms, Crash has appeared three times on Switch (Crash N.Sane Trilogy, Crash 4: It’s About Time and Crash Team Racing: Nitro Fueled).
In fact, Crash N.Sane Trilogy took a year to reach the Switch, after its initial PlayStation 4 release, while Crash 4 took over five months.
Its a possibility it will end up on Switch at some stage and would be uncharacteristic of Activision to withhold a popular franchise from a platform; especially if it’s successful.
The only thing that may hinder the Switch is the ropey online servers for multiplayer games. With Crash Team Rumble being an online multiplayer game, it would need reliable connections to function and be successful.
