Dragon’s Dogma 2 has just launched and many users are perhaps unhappy with their initial build/character selection. So you may be one of those who are wondering how to delete save in Dragon’s Dogma 2.

If you’re planning to spend your time playing this lengthy game, you’ll want to do it in the most enjoyable way possible.

Here’s how you can delete your character and save in Dragon’s Dogma 2.

How To Delete A Character/Save On Dragon’s Dogma 2

Delete Save On Xbox Series X

To delete your save/character, you just need to locate your saved data on your platform of choice and delete it.

On Xbox Series X, you’ll need to go to the Xbox Dashboard, hover over Dragon’s Dogma 2 and press the menu button on your Xbox controller.

This will bring up a small window, go down the list of options and select ‘Manage game and add-ons’.

Scroll down to the ‘Saved Data’ option, once there you can simply press ‘Delete All’.

Delete Save On PC

  1. Disable Steam Cloud
  2. Steam Settings, Cloud, Set Enable Steam Cloud to off
  3. Head over to  C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata
  4. Find the file name: 2054970
  5. Inside this file is another one called ‘Remote’
  6. Delete this file

Delete PS5 Save

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Go to Game/App Settings
  3. Go to Sync Saved Data and Disbale this feature
  4. Go to Storage
  5. Go to Console Storage
  6. Find Dragon’s Dogma 2 and delete your save file

This will delete all data that has been saved, to your profile, for the game.

So before you do this, be sure you’re ok with it as you won’t be able to get it back unless you back it up to a different drive before proceeding.

Theoretically, you can save multiple characters or even start a new game without losing your original game, if you play the game with more than one profile.

However, with a digital version of the game, the game is usually tied to the person who bought it.

If you have a physical copy of the game, this is possible.
