The Teal Mask has launched as the first part of the Scarlet and Violet DLC ‘Hidden Treasures of Area Zero’ and the Mascot for the DLC has everyone wondering how to change Ogerpon’s form, typing and masks.
This is a truly unique Pokemon, as this Legendary grass-type changes its masks which can change its typing.

How To Change Ogerpon’s Form
To change Ogerpon’s form means to change its typing. To do that you’ll need to give Ogerpon a different mask.
To give Ogerpon a mask, you simply need to open your items menu, click on the mask you want to utilise and give it to Ogerpon.
In total, there are four masks for Ogerpon, which are as follows:
Teal Mask – this is Ogerpon’s default state, making him a grass-type. It has the ability ‘Defiant’, which increases the user’s Attack by two stages when the user’s stats get lowered. It also has the Embody Aspect which increases its Speed.
Wellspring Mask – this makes Ogerpon a water-type. It has the ability ‘Water Absorb’, which restores up to 25% of the user’s max HP instead of taking damage when hit with Water-type moves. It also has the Embody Aspect which increases its Special Defense.
Heartflame Mask – this makes Ogerpon a fire-type. It has the ability ‘Mold Breaker’, which means the user can use moves without getting affected by the opponent’s Abilities. It also has the Embody Aspect which increases its Attack.
Cornerstone Mask – this makes Ogerpon a rock-type. It has the ability ‘Sturdy’, which means user cannot be knocked out with one hit and cannot be knocked out by One hit KO moves, causing the Pokemon to have 1 HP remaining. It also has the Embody Aspect which increases its Defense.
