The Teal Mask has launched as the first part of the Scarlet and Violet DLC ‘Hidden Treasures of Area Zero’ and brings many new and returning Pokemon. As part of the new Pokedex, you’ll want to know where the Hisuian Growlithe Location in Teal Mask.
This Pokemon was introduced in the recent Pokemon Legends Arceus game that was released in 2022.
As a regional variant of the Kanto classic, it is a fire and rock dual-type.
Here’s how to get Hisuian Growlithe in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet’s Teal Mask DLC.
Hisuian Growlithe Location In Teal Mask
In order to obtain Hisuian Growlithe, you’ll first need to boot up Pokemon Scarlet or Violet and head to Kitakami, which is where the Teal Mask is set; so you will need to have purchased the DLC.
Hisuian Growlithe is not available in the wild in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet and has been added to the Teal Mask DLC.
In order to obtain this Pokemon, you’ll have to speak to an NPC – specifically, Perrin.
You’ll meet Perrin very early on in the story, she’s located to the left of Mossui Town.

When you speak to her, she’ll introduce herself and take a photo of your character, but in order to continue to talk to her you’ll need to meet a requirement.
The requirement is to catch 150 Pokemon from the Kitakami Pokedex.
Once you’ve done that, you can start the mission to get Hisuian Growlithe.
First Perrin will insist on a battle to test your strength, defeat her to move on to the next step.
Then players will encounter Bloodmoon Ursaluna. Defeat and capture Bloodmoon Ursaluna, then there’s only one step left.
Once Bloodmoon Ursaluna has been obtained, players can go talk to Perrin again.
Alternatively, if you’re feeling a bit lazy, you can transfer him from Pokemon Home if you’ve caught him in Pokemon Legends Arceus or Pokemon GO.
