Fortnite’s Summer Event has come to an end for 2023 and with Epic Games returning from their break, a new update is primed for Fortnite.
This next update will reveal a number of new cosmetics, weapons and lots of smaller quality-of-life updates.
The biggest talking point is the Fortnite x Futurama collaboration; the 90s cartoon recently returned to TV and is coming back to video games as well.
Here are the patch notes for update v25.20 for Fortnite.

Fortnite’s next update, v25.20, will release on the 26th of July 2023.

Bug Fixes
Here’s what bugs could be fixed in the next update, based on the Fortnite Trello board:
- Scrolling past Mjolnir’s Flight glider in the locker may cause the game to crash
- Multiple outfits may appear shiny/glossy
- Sound effects missing from the Maxx Axe Pickaxe
- Meow Skulls is missing her tail
- Players may experience lag when using specific projectile traps
- Hero Loadout Rows may appear invisible
- Players may not be given full weapon damage credit for some Ranked quests
