Chapter 4 is coming to a close with just one season left. Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 5 will be a shorter, but just as epic finale to 2023.

Chapter 4 Season 4 has seen many great collaborations, skins and events; so we’re excited to see what new concepts arrive in Season 5.

We’re expecting a big Christmas event to feature in this season, as it always does at this time of year, with rumours hotting up that we’re set to go back to the very original Chapter 1 map.

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 5 Release Date

The next season of Fortnite, Chapter 4 Season 5, will launch on the 3rd of November 2023.

It will release at 3AM ET/8AM BST.

Size

Seasonal updates usually range from 2-10GB in size.

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 Battle Pass, Skins And Cosmetics

Battle Pass

A new Battle Pass will feature for the new season, offering both a paid and free path.

The paid path will cost 950 V-Bucks, with 100+ tiers of content.

The free path will only feature a selection of rewards.

Usually, the Battle Pass features a collaboration with a new TV show or Film; last season featured Ahsoka Tano to celebrate her new Disney+ show.

Map

Rumours have been circulating that we’ll be returning to the original Chapter 1 map for this season.

The Time Machine will possibly lose control, transporting players back in time. This seems like something Epic Games could have used as an opener for the next Chapter, but it appears they’ve opted to introduce it at the end of the season.

Old assets from back then were discovered by dataminers in update 26.30. It’s since been suggested that Fortnite will cycle through different seasons for a month, with original weapons from the game’s start making their return, as well.

Fortntie have even sent out gifts to Fortnite creators which confirms the first map will return.

It’s unknown if this will remain in place for the duration of the season or be temporary.

Collaborations And Events

We were expecting the Lego Event to take place during this season, which will feature its own mini Battle Pass.

Alongside this, we’re expecting a Christmas-themed event to take place, as it does during the holidays, featuring plenty of free cosmetics and gifts for players.

Given how short this season could be, it’s only likely we’ll have a Christmas-themed event.
