How To Use And Launch A Nuke In Fallout 76

Launching a Nuke in Fallout is straightforward once you know how to do it – so if you’re not sure how to, let us explain.

First, you’ll need to locate a Nuclear Keycard in-game.

You’ll find one after you shoot down a Cargobot in the Nuclear Keycard Escort Mission. When you shoot one down, it will drop and be lootable.

Next, head to any Nuclear Launch Site in Savage Divide – there are three:

  • Alpha
  • Bravo
  • Charlie

So the code you need to enter corresponds to the terminals (Alpha Code goes into the Alpha terminal, Bravo code goes into the Bravo code, Charlie code goes into the Charlie code).

These are guarded by Sentry Bots and Aggressotrons so be ready for a fight.

When you put the codes in, be sure to stay as far away from the strike zone as possible.

Launching nuclear missiles is an important endgame feature within Fallout 76.

Nukes are used to spawn in certain bosses and change the fauna of the affected area.

Radioactive flowers can be the result of nukes and are required to craft fluxes, an important crafting component for serums, specific ammo, modifications, and more.
