With the release of EA’s new Football video game, ‘EA Sports FC‘ the game will continue to do what it does best and return with a lot of familiar aspects.

FUT Icons are returning, which were first introduced back in FIFA 22. These cards are similar in fashion to Hero cards, allowing players to celebrate some of football’s most memorable players that represent the unforgettable moments that turned them into fan favourites.

So who are the FUT Icons in EA Sports FC 24?

Release Date

Icons are released into FUT from the very start.

Sometimes, their release is staggered to give players an opportunity to try different icons and different versions of that icon.

What Are FUT Icons And How Do They Work?

These players possess significantly higher overall ratings and stats compared to others to reflect their Iconic careers.

They will come with three versions of the card – a base card, mid-card and Prime card.

During FIFA 23, special Icon cards were released alongside special promos in FUT including TOTY Icons, Trophy Titans Icon, FUT Birthday Icons, World Cup Icons and Shapeshifters Icon

Icons have been confirmed to have an updated chemistry system to improve squad building, they now give +1 worth of league chemistry to EVERY league in the game.
