The next ex Collection Box coming in the Scarlet and Violet era will feature one of the newer Pokemon in the Paldea region, Annihilape.
Annihilape may be a new Pokemon, but it originates from the Mankey and Primeape evolution – Pokemon that debuted in the Kanto region.
This will be the second ex collection box of the new era, so what’s it all about?

What’s Inside?
It’s not confirmed the contents of the box, but the box has specified to include:
- 1 foil promo card featuring Annihilape ex
- 1 foil card featuring Primeape
- 1 foil card featuring Mankey
- 4 Pokémon TCG booster packs
- A code card for Pokémon Trading Card Game Live
Annihilape ex SVP032 (Black Star Promo)
The featured card of Annihilape ex comes with 320 HP and two attacking moves
‘Angry Grudge’ does 20x damage and requires one fighting energy card. You can put up to 12 damage counters on this Pokemon, with each counter adding 20 damage on.
‘Seismic’ Toss, which requires one fighting energy card and any other energy card, does 150 damage.
As well as this, players receive a Holo version of the Mankey and Primeape card from Paldea Evolved.
Packs are yet to be confirmed, but based on the pictures we can at least see two Paldea Evolved packs. It’s very likely we’ll also get a Scarlet and Violet base set pack, which looks to be the back right pack based on the artwork (this being the artwork with all three starters on it). The last pack appears to be Lost Origin, based on the artwork it looks like the Giratina booster pack, which is an odd choice.
It’s important to note that booster packs on the promotional images are not always the same that end up in the products.
